Bowser Administration Launches New “Art All Night” Website and Releases "Dine All Night" Restaurant Guide

WASHINGTON (Sept. 12, 2023) — The District’s annual overnight arts festival, Mayor Muriel Bowser Presents Art All Night, returns to kick off the fall festival season in the nation’s capital.

Art All Night is a two-night event that will celebrate the District’s performing, visual, and—for the first time—culinary arts, with the addition of Dine All Night. The free festival will be held across all eight wards on September 29 and 30, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. More than 100 local artists and 20 Main Streets and Business Improvement Districts are participating.

On the newly updated website, www.dcartallnight.org, visitors can map out their experience for the evening using their desktop or mobile phones. The feature, integrated with Google Maps, highlights each of the activations, provides the opportunity to plan routes, and suggests ideal routes based on an attendee’s interest.

"We're excited to introduce an engaging tool to inspire all to participate in the festivities," said DC Department of Small and Local Business Director Kristi Whitfield. "By utilizing the map feature, participants can uncover fresh experiences, venues, and dining options they may have yet to discover. So, I invite everyone to explore the captivating art scene that DC has to offer."

Leading up to Art All Night, Dine All Night will begin September 21 and continue through October 1. The 11-day event will highlight over 60 participating local restaurants that took on the creative challenge to create culinary artistry through food with limited-time-only menus and offerings. A list of participating restaurants is available at https://www.dcartallnight.org/dineallnight
